Hey there awesome artists! No art supplies at home? No worries, think creatively! You don't have to have the same art supplies at home that we use in the art room to create amazing artwork. Go on an art supplies treasure hunt and find things around the house to use to get creative! No paper? Use newspaper or the inside of a cereal or other food box. No paintbrushes? A Q-tip works great! Dried up markers? Don't throw them away! You can make watercolor from them by soaking them upside down in a cup of water! And for the love of art, save those toilet paper and paper towel cardboard tubes!

Hello Awesome Casey Artists! Welcome to my online art room! I will be posting resources as well as lessons on this page that you can complete at home while we are away from school for the next few weeks. The Austin Independent School District has created an At Home Learning Website with loads of resources for our students and families to use while you are away from school. Check it out here: AISD Learning At-Home Ready to CREATE! Create a color wheel with everyday objects around your home! Go on a scavenger hunt around your house and look for three or four objects from each color of the color wheel. Start with the primary colors: red, blue, and yellow! Once you have found those, find three objects from each of the secondary colors: Purple, green, and orange. Arrange them in the correct order of the color wheel! If you can, snap a picture and send it to my e-mail! Here's are a few examples from our Creative Casey Crocs! |
